Dr. Yaw Osei AdutwumDr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, a 2028 presidential flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed that his administration would focus on creating more millionaires in Ghana.
The Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe believes that empowering individuals to become millionaires would contribute to the country’s overall development.
Speaking on Kumasi-based OTEC 102.9 FM’s “Dwabrem” show, on Friday June 20, 2025 hosted by Nii Ardey Prince aka Dr Cash, Dr. Adutwum emphasized that his administration would also prioritize creating a system that ensures better remuneration for public sector workers.
He expressed concern that successive governments have focused on taxing individual businesses without creating an enabling environment for them to thrive.
Dr. Adutwum noted that, under his administration, the government would focus on providing opportunities for businesses to grow before considering taxation.
This approach, he believes, would help create a more prosperous Ghana.
