The Member of Parliament for Anyaa Sowutuom has once again demonstrated his commitment towards education in the constituency by presenting a cheque of thirty eight thousand, eight hundred and ten Ghana cedis (GHC 38,810) to the Ga Central Municipal Education Directorate as payment for mock examinations fees for students in Anyaa Sowutuom.

Speaking to the media, Tobbin stated that this donation will eliminate the financial barrier and it associated stress that often hinder students from preparing adequately before writing the main Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and that this will rather give them the opportunity to prepare well and excel.

Furthermore, he said “This wouldn’t be my last donation to the directorate. I am aware of the dilapidated state of some basic schools in the municipality and I’ve taken it upon myself to ensure these schools get a facelift befitting of the Constituency.”

In addition to paying the mock fees, Emmanuel Tobbin also donated a brand new printer and packs A4 sheets to the education directorate to enhance their administrative works.

Receiving the cheque and the printer was the Municipal Education Director, Ibrahim Mumuni, who was filled with joy, expressed gratitude on behalf of the directorate, parents, guardians and students to the MP for this kind gesture.
