A somber atmosphere engulfed the Atonsu community in the Ashanti Region as mourners gathered to bid farewell to Linda Agyemang, a 33-year-old nurse, and her three children, who perished in a devastating fire.

The tragedy has left the family reeling with grief and suspicion. Believing there may be more to the incident, they are calling on security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the fire.

The funeral, held on Sunday, drew a heartbroken crowd of friends, colleagues, and sympathizers, including schoolmates of the children. Mourners struggled to contain their sorrow. Linda’s husband stood in shock, while her mother wept uncontrollably.

The fire, which broke out on February 8, 2025, claimed the lives of Linda and her children—aged 13, 10, and 3—after trapping them inside their three-bedroom home. The cause remains unknown, fueling concerns of possible foul play.

Seeking closure, the family is urging authorities to expedite their investigation and provide answers.

As the community mourns this heartbreaking loss, the family’s plea for justice and transparency remains urgent.
