Bloomspace, an organisation dedicated to uplifting women entrepreneurs, hosted the Intentional Women’s Business Seminar at the University of Ghana.

The event gathered over 100 passionate participants, sparking discussions on entrepreneurship, resilience, and strategies for overcoming challenges in the business landscape.

Throughout the seminar, participants engaged in powerful conversations, sharing insights and forming connections among women leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Notable speakers included Osman Abdulai Ayariga, CEO of the National Youth Authority, who highlighted the critical importance of women’s empowerment and the proactive steps women are taking toward achieving success.

The seminar featured an inspiring competition that led to four women entrepreneurs receiving prizes, including cash donations and mentorship.

The winners expressed deep gratitude for the support, sharing their stories of resilience and determination. Two recipients engaged in thrift clothing stated, “Be determined to succeed no matter the challenges confronting your business. Your success starts with you and how you invest in your business.”

They commended FirstBank for investing in women’s empowerment. Their testimonials reflect the profound impact of Bloomspace’s seminar.

The bank also mentioned its commitment to continue providing focused training sessions for this cohort of women entrepreneurs to further broaden their knowledge base and equip them with valuable business-related lessons. The objective is to create an ecosystem where women are empowered to thrive, innovate, and lead.

Kezia Stewart-Cudjoe, founder of Bloomspace, expressed her gratitude for FirstBank’s support, stating, “FirstBank’s commitment to women entrepreneurs is truly commendable and makes a real difference in our lives.”

Bloomspace has a remarkable history of supporting underprivileged children by donating clothes, food, books, and stationery. Their commitment to community upliftment extends to women entrepreneurs, striving to cultivate a supportive ecosystem where women can thrive and lead in their respective fields.
