The Minister for Health, Mr. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has sworn in the newly appointed Chairman of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) Governing Board, Nana Baffuor Kotei Kutin Sraman II, Bremahene.
The ceremony is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and enhance emergency medical service delivery nationwide.
The Minister congratulated the Chairman and expressed confidence in his leadership and the capacity to guide the National Ambulance Service towards greater efficiency and responsiveness.
He stated the critical role of NAS in saving lives and called for strengthened coordination, innovation, and accountability among Board members.
“The National Ambulance Service remains a pillar in our emergency response system. As we continue to improve access to quality healthcare, we must also ensure that our emergency medical services are timely, reliable, and well-governed,” he said.
On his part, the Chairman of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) Governing Board, Nana Baffuor Kotei Kutin Sraman II, Bremahene, expressed appreciation to the President and the ministry for the trust reposed in him.
He pledged his commitment to working collaboratively with stakeholders to advance the mission of the NAS and improve ambulance coverage, response time, and staff welfare.
