A member of the Public Relations team of the Ghana Fire Service, Alex King Nartey, has disclosed how he and other pedestrians were almost knocked down by some officers of the Ghana Police Service.

According to him, he will provide details later. However, he is traumatized and unable to sleep after the plainclothes police officers nearly ran them over.

In a post shared via social media, Alex King Nartey stated that after the near-accident, they were ill-treated by the police.

“I will be making a post about how three plainclothed officers of the Ghana Police Service assaulted me at gunpoint on March 5 at the new Flowerpot Overhead near the Palace Mall at 8:40 a.m. This happened just because I confronted them after they almost knocked me and other pedestrians down at a zebra crossing,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

He added, “I have bruises on my arm and feet, I am traumatized and can’t even sleep.”
