Zimbabwean Quality Assurance Specialist and Consultant, Dr Violet Makuku has praised Ghanaians for their warmth and acceptance of foreigners.

Speaking on TV3’s Today’s Woman on July 13, 2025, she described Ghanaians as being helpful and warm.

Dr Makuku, who has been a strong advocate of the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in all aspects of disciplines, stated that she doesn’t miss Zimbabwe after 10 years in Ghana.

“As a diplomat and academic who has travelled over 21 countries in the world, I describe a country by how I feel while I’m residing there and I can say for a fact that Ghanaians are helpful and generally warm,” she said.

On another score, she encouraged women to be more assertive and confident in their areas of work.

She lamented the low representation of women in corporate settings and urged a deliberate inclusion of women in all fields via education and activism.
