Ghanaian YouTuber and content creator Bernard Kwadwo Amoafo, popularly known as Kwadwo Sheldon, has hinted at a possible future in politics.
According to him, his support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) goes beyond mere fanfare and is part of a broader ambition to someday enter Parliament.
Speaking on the sidelines of an event to mark this year’s Eid al-Adha on Saturday, June 7, the CEO of Kwadwo Sheldon Studios responded to criticisms about his political affiliation, stressing that supporting a party is not a crime.
“I am not following a political party because I want to eat jollof. I have a bigger ambition. Maybe in the next few years, you will see me in Parliament. Also, I support the NPP. I haven’t killed anyone, and it’s not against the Constitution,” he said.
Meanwhile, the content creator expressed confidence in the presidential bid of former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, saying he believes nothing can stop his rise to the highest office of the land.
“A Dr. Bawumia presidency is inevitable; it is going to happen no matter the impediments. We are going to work hard and dedicate all our resources to support him because we believe in his vision,” Sheldon added.
