Ghanaian YouTuber and content creator Bernard Kwadwo Amoafo, popularly known as Kwadwo Sheldon, has defended his open support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Kwadwo Sheldon has asserted that there is nothing criminal about his political choice.

According to him, his decision to back the NPP is based on conviction and ambition, not for material gain.

“I support the NPP. I haven’t killed anyone, and it’s not against the Constitution,” he stated.

The CEO of Kwadwo Sheldon Studios said this while responding to criticism over his political stance on the sidelines of an event to mark this year’s Eid al-Adha on Saturday, June 7.

“I am not following a political party because I want to eat jollof. I have a bigger ambition. Maybe in the next few years, you will see me in Parliament,” he added, hinting at a future bid to become a Member of Parliament.

The content creator also expressed optimism about the presidential ambitions of former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, saying his rise to the presidency is inevitable.

“A Dr. Bawumia presidency is inevitable; it is going to happen no matter the impediments. We are going to work hard and dedicate all our resources to support him because we believe in his vision,” Sheldon said.
