Onesta Ghana Ltd. is an agro-industrial company specialising in oil palm development, processing, and trade facilitation. The company recently launched “Redgold Oil Palm Plantation (ROPP)”, a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) aimed at developing a sustainable, fully integrated oil palm value chain in Ghana to transform the country into a major player in the global palm oil market. We are committed to excellence in agribusiness operations, sustainability, and quality product delivery. We seek a highly organised and proactive person to join our team, providing support to our daily operations at both the plantation and administrative office levels.

Job 1:

Location: East Legon, Accra

Company: Onesta Ghana Ltd. – ROPP Project

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Title: Administrative Officer

Job Summary:

The Administrative Officer will be responsible for coordinating and managing all administrative functions of the company. This includes documentation, logistics, staff coordination, filing, reporting, and general office management to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Provide day-to-day administrative support to various departments.

2) Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases (both digital and physical).

3) Prepare correspondence, reports, memos, and official documents.

4) Manage schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements for senior staff.

5) Oversee inventory of office supplies and coordinate procurement processes.

6) Support HR functions including attendance tracking, leave administration, and onboarding.

7) Liaise with government agencies, vendors, and service providers.

8) Ensure compliance with company policies and administrative procedures.

9) Assist in logistics and coordination of field staff and contractors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

2) Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in an administrative role.

3) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

4) Strong organisational, multitasking, and communication skills.

5) Ability to work independently and under pressure.

6) Familiarity with logistics or plantation operations, agribusiness or manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Receptionist / Front Desk Personnel

Job Summary:

The Receptionist / Front Desk Personnel is the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and will greet guests, manage the front desk, provide general information and perform support tasks for the Administrative Officer. This role requires effective communication, strong organisational and multitasking abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, guiding them to the appropriate person or office

2) Ensure a positive first impression.

3) Manage incoming calls, screen and direct them to the appropriate personnel.

4) Provide information to visitors, clients and callers about the organisation, its services, or directions to visitors and callers.

5) Handle incoming and outgoing emails, mail and packages/deliveries.

6) Schedule appointments, meetings, and company events; and maintain calendars

7) Maintain accurate records

8) Manage, clean and organise the front desk or reception area.

9) Assist with other administrative support to all team members as needed, such as filing, photocopying, or data entry.

10) Monitor office supplies and order replacements as needed.

11) Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance personnel for office upkeep.

12) Support the Administrative Assistant

Qualifications and Requirements:

1) Minimum of a high school diploma (HND) or equivalent is required

2) Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Representative,

Customer Service Agent, or similar role.

3) Experience working in the agriculture/agribusiness, hospitality, or retail industry is preferred.

4) Familiarity with basic office software

5) Experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, and copiers).

6) Maintains a professional demeanour
