The Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in the Ashanti Region has honored over 40 employees for their dedication and outstanding service.
Among the awardees were 20 long-serving staff members recognized for their years of commitment, along with 20 others who excelled in their roles in 2024.
Recipients received cash prizes, electronic gadgets, and other incentives, including television sets and refrigerators.
According to Dr. Ochere Addai Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of KATH, the overall best staff member was awarded a check for 20,000 cedis, while the first and second runners-up received 15,000 and 10,000 cedis, respectively.
Dr. Mensah praised the hospital’s staff and partners for their dedication to quality healthcare and assured them that management would continue prioritizing their welfare to enhance service delivery.
The overall best staff award was presented to Dr. Devine Aseye Yao Amenuke, Head of the Respiratory Unit.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Amenuke dedicated the award to his colleagues and family, expressing gratitude for their support. He also thanked God for His guidance and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the hospital and its patients with excellence.
