The Kete Muslim Youth Association has been honoured by Kete-Krachi Senior High Technical School during this year’s SRC Week celebration for its outstanding contributions to the school.

In a glowing citation presented to the Association, the school commended the group for its impactful support, particularly its donation of electronic gadgets which has enhanced teaching and learning.

The citation reads: “The Kete Muslim Youth Association deserves heartfelt appreciation for their generous support to Kete-Krachi Senior High School. Your donation of electronic gadgets has significantly enhanced our students learning experience.”

It continued: “Your commitment to education and community development is truly commendable. Thank you for your kindness and investment in the future of our students.”

Speaking on behalf of the Association, Director of Operations Ing. Abdullai Maikano expressed gratitude to the school for the recognition and assured that the group would continue to contribute to the development of the institution.

He also raised concerns over the recent change in the school anthem, noting that the word “Kete” had been removed. He urged school authorities to revisit the decision, emphasizing the importance of preserving the original identity as “Kete-Krachi Senior High Technical School.”

It is no surprise that the Association is being celebrated, as it was the first organization to support the school following its establishment.

Present at the event were key members of the Kete Muslim Youth Association, including Mr. Awudu Issah, Tamale Branch Chairman; Umar Sualihu, National Coordinator; Alhaji Nuru Baako, Accra Branch; Safianu Labaran, Vice Chairman, Accra Branch; and Abdul Razak Mohammed from the Kumasi Branch.
