When Abel Damina (and many U.S. Pastors) say: “Jesus has abolished the Law”, is this not a contradiction against Jesus who said: “Do Not Think That I Came To Abolish The Law(Torah) or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill” (Matt 5v17) . If the Spirit of Christ lives in you (His temple), He will be fulfilling the Moral Laws in this vessel, as He (the Passover Lamb) also covers this imperfect vessel by His Sacrificial Love and Eternal Presence poured-out from eternity past so humans can have true-Life (Rev 13v8 . 2Tim 1v9 . Hebrews 4v3-4 . Gen 2v7) . Romans 10v6-8, “Righteousness by Faith” and many NewTestament verses are A Quote of Torah(the Law).
Romans 3v31 “Do we then make void the Law through Faith (and Grace)? Certainly Not! On the contrary, we establish the Law” . Matt 7v21-23, Jesus said: Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord”, is of the Kingdom of Heaven . . . At the end, I (Jesus) will declare to MANY Church Leaders: “I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice LAWLESSNESS!”.
What Does New Testament Mean By: “we are not under law but under grace”? The instruction that we should love the Lord with all our heart, mind and strength, and love our neighbor as self, is from the Law(Torah), and many other instructions that shows us the Spirit we need to be embracing, and they all transfer into the New Testament (Hebrews 10v16-17, A Quote of The Tanakh).
The relationship between Torah(Law) and NT has its complexities (2Peter 3v16). Many Christians (here in the U.S.) misunderstand and misuse Paul’s: “we are no more under the law but under grace” . What Does It Mean?? This Issue Is Complex With Its Nuances, Therefore It’s Better Dealt With Based On Each Specific Issue At-hand. Here are some examples among other complexities that could arise. Thankfully, we have examples that have gone ahead of us and how the Jewish Apostles handled them: IN ACTS 15 THERE WAS CONTROVERSY and THE APOSTLES DELIBERATED and BEGAN CIRCULATING A DECREE on the issue of Symbolic Aspects of Torah (e.g., circumcision). The Acts15-Deliberation (Council of Jerusalem) concluded that: God doesn’t expect followers of YahShua(Jesus) in Gentile Lands to be observing the symbolic aspects of the Law (e.g., Kosher, symbolic Sabbaths, Circumcision, YomKippur, the symbolic Offerings/Feasts, etc). This side of the Acts15 Decree is reflected in scriptures such as Col 2v16-17 and other scriptures. However, the Moral Law stands forever and the Peace of Shabat we have through the Passover Lamb WHO IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS still stands as well, whether OldT or NewT (Phil 3v9 . 1Cor 5v7 . Exodus 12v6 . Romans 5v1 . Gal 2v16 . Romans 4v6, Dhavid’s Realization Under The Torah) . Actually, the Meaning and Spirit of every OldT symbol transfers into NewT (Matt 5v19 . 1John 2v7-8) . Romans 3v21 “the Goodness(Righteousness) of God apart from the law(of Self-Effort) is revealed in the testimony of the Law(Torah) and the Prophets” (e.g., Passover Lamb, YomKippur/Atonement) . Lev 16v16 “Atonement because of the uncleanness of the Children … Atonement for the Tabernacle dwelling with them in the midst of their uncleanness”.
Romans 10v4, “Christ (whether in the OldT or NewT) is the end of the Law For Righteousness to everyone who accepts it”, doesn’t mean we begin neglecting the rules of His house/garden. It means we have Peace by His Love SINCE NO ONE COULD EVER BE JUSTIFIED BY KEEPING LAWS PERFECTLY RESULTING IN PRIDE(satanic): Deceitful Self-Righteousness (Phil 3v9 . Gal 2v16) . Romans 8v15, “For you did not receive the spirit of hard-labour again to fear (or Pride), but you received the Spirit of Adoption by whom we say Abba(Father)” . Romans 6v14, “Sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law (of Self Effort) but under Grace (of Adoption)” . Anyone who understands this Liberating Love of Adoption cannot carry-on with Lies and idolatries such as Christmas, etc. The Acts15 Decree which the Jewish Apostles wrote to the Gentiles forbids us from idolatries which church leaders have been allowing in various ways. 1Cor 10 and other scriptures reflect this side of the Acts15 Decree. The other side of Acts15 Decree is a correction of certain Jewish Christians who, contrary to the Jewish Apostles, were teaching that Gentiles need to keep the symbolic aspects of Torah but the Jewish Apostles said: NO . . . (c.50 AD – Council of Jerusalem).
See Acts 21v20-32 (NKJV). The New Testament allows the followers of YahShua(Jesus) in the Land of YisraEl to use Torah Ceremonials and symbols as long as they UNDERSTAND that these are not the Essence which the symbols are speaking of (communicating about). However, in Gentile Lands, we are exempt from the burden of Torah Ceremonials (Acts 21v20-32 NKJV) . Abel Damina is among those who teach contrary to ROMANS 11 and many scriptures that foretold the regathering of physical Jews back to Eretz YisraEl 2,500 years before the 1948 re-establishment as foretold in the Tanakh. In every generation, there’s always a remnant of Jewish believers. Gentile Christians are not a replacement of Jewish Christians who must EXIST in Eretz YisraEl so Messiah can be received in His Second Appearance (Romans 11 . Revelation 12).
While it is true that baptism of Souls cannot be done by man or any physical means, how dare any Church Leader (e.g., Abel Damina) reject or neglect the COMMAND for symbolic baptism (Acts 10v47 . Matt 28v19 . Acts 8v36-39.NKJV). Also, NewTestament Decree of symbolic communion (1Cor 11v23-26), and the clear instructions of 1Cor 11 regarding headcovering, are too clear(explicit) for any Church “Leader” to reject or neglect, unless strong-delusion has taken root.
