Michael Klutse, the President of the Anfoega Secondary School Old Students’ Association (ANFOSA), has urged old students and stakeholders of the school to contribute massively to the Anniversary Projects.
He said, “As we launch the celebrations of our 60th anniversary, let us renew our commitment to contributing our widow’s mite to assist the school.”
Klutse, said this to the Ghana News Agency ahead of the National Launch, Fundraiser and Dance of the School’s 60th Anniversary in Accra.

The theme for the Anniversary is “Celebrating 60 Years: The Role Of Stakeholders In Providing Quality Education For The 21st Century.”
The Anniversary will be launched at the Christ the King Parish on Thursday, May 29, 2025, with Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister of Education, as the guest of honour.
Some projects settled for the commemoration of the 60th Anniversary celebration, including face-lifting of the school entrance with fence-wall adjoining the school gate from the opposite end, development of a standard sports complex attached to the fence-wall and a modern Home Economics and ICT block.
These projects are estimated at GH¢4 million.
“Let us pledge to continue the tradition of excellence that Anfoesec stands for,” he added.
He said the dedication and hard work of the forerunners had made Anfoesec what it had become today and commended the organising committee for putting the event together.
“As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, let us remember the values that bind us and the mission that drives us,” he added.
The President of ANFOSA said together the alumni would continue to strive for excellence, to inspire, and to make a difference.
He commended all for their unwavering support, calling on them to celebrate the school’s past, embrace the present, and look forward to a future filled with promise and potential.
He said 60 years was not just a number, but it was a testament to the enduring spirit of Anfoesec, adding that “as we celebrate this remarkable milestone, let us remember the values that bind us and the mission that drives us.”
