The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has stated that his team has put behind them their defeat to Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League matchday 28 fixture.
The Tarkwa-based club suffered a narrow 1-0 loss away from home, marking their second consecutive defeat in their last two matches in the topflight. Ibrahim Tanko’s men are yet to score a goal in their last two league matches, with an unwanted record of two defeats, zero clean sheets, and zero points adding another layer to their seasonal struggles.
Despite dominating most of their games, the 2023 Premier League winners are yet to find the back of the net and record a win. Although feeling disheartened, coach Ibrahim Tanko has rallied his players to move forward and focus on the upcoming match in the Ghana Premier League against Young Apostles.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of this weekend’s encounter against Young Apostles, coach Tanko said his players have prepared well and are ready to fight for all three points.
“We have put everything behind us, and they definitely know the performance they put up over there and deserved some points, like you said. We have our next game, and this is what we have to concentrate on. I’m sure the boys are ready to deliver,” Coach Ibrahim Tanko said during his pre-match interview with Medi TV.
