MP for Weija Gbawe visits fire-affected area, inspects roadworks

Jerry Ahmed Shaib, Member of Parliament for Weija Gbawe Constituency, paid an early morning visit to Mallam After Church, near the ECG substation, to assess the aftermath of a recent fire outbreak.

During the visit, he interacted with constituents and business owners affected by the incident, assuring them of his commitment to working with relevant authorities to provide support and prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Shaib also inspected the Mallam highway and commended the Ghana Highways Authority for the progress made in patching the road. However, he urged them to urgently address the remaining damaged sections to ensure safety and ease traffic congestion for commuters.

These efforts reflect Hon. Shaib’s dedication to addressing both the immediate and long-term needs of his constituency, highlighting his proactive approach to public service in Weija Gbawe.
