The fourth edition of the National FMCG Summit and Awards came alive on Saturday, 7th June 2025, bringing together leading voices, brands, and changemakers from across Ghana’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
This year’s edition, themed “Innovate, Adapt, and Thrive,” delivered a compelling mix of inspiration, industry dialogue, and well-deserved recognition.
The headline of the summit was a panel discussion that tackled critical conversations around digital transformation, supply chain agility, evolving consumer behaviors and implications for the FMCG sector.
A defining moment of the event was the launch of the FMCG Incubator, a new mentoring programme that pairs early-career people with experienced professionals on a unique development journey. The FMCG incubator was launched by Eric Kumah, Marketing Manager for West Africa at Danone; Edwin Amoako, Managing Director and Consultant; Barbara Incoom, Marketing Director at Delta Paper/Alpha Industries and Ewuraba Adusei, Marketing Director at GB Foods Ghana.
The FMCG Summit is proudly organised by Global Ovations and hosted by the prestigious Marriott Hotel, Accra.
Graced by high-level dignitaries including the Managing Director of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and senior representatives from the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the summit reaffirmed the public sector’s commitment to supporting innovation, investment, and growth in Ghana’s FMCG space.
The summit climaxed with the FMCG Awards Ceremony, honoring individuals and brands who have demonstrated innovation, excellence, and resilience over the past year.
