NPP digging their own political grave

NPP digging their own political grave

If you dig your own grave for whatever reason, be sure and aware that you will sooner be buried in it.

For personal selfish reasons bordering principally on the quest for power, fame and probably wealth, some NPP future flag bearer aspirants and their supporters in their myopic beliefs, have resorted to mudslinging their opponents. They believe that by destroying their opponents, the path will be smoothened for them to rise to realise their goal of being elected the flag bearer of NPP and then, the president of Ghana.

If they believe that the easiest way of attaining their objective is to dismantle the party to later assemble it, then I say, they are being completely descriptively childish! They can never achieve their dreams through destruction of one another, as it is currently visibly the case between the supporters of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and Dr Alhaji Bawumia.

It is beyond description and the least, to say how shameful it is to see the very children from the same womb of mother elephant, verbally and in written, tarnishing the reputation of one another all in the hope of gaining public favour to eventually be elected to rule Ghana in future. This behaviour of theirs is not only deplorable but disingenuously preposterous, to say the least.

The more they go on air, (radio and social media) revealing the otherwise hidden dirty secrets about their opponents, thinking they are doing massive harm to their intended victims to bring them to their knees to gain upper hand over them in their race to win the NPP flagbearership, the more the son of Kumawu/Asiampa soil, sees them as championing defeatist course. Both parties will hit a dead end, losing to their collective political rival NDC.

The public fight they are currently fervently indulged in, thinking they are weakening the other, rather goes to strengthen the hands and muscles of NDC, giving them the needed political ammunitions to be used against them come any future general elections. Have the warring NPP camps, thought about that? No!

Both Dr Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong should have known better and have stopped their supporters from such injurious engagements long ago, to redeem the little political glory they have left since their woeful defeat in election 2024.

The writer, a member of NPP and supporter of both candidates will never join the fray because he sees it as not doing NPP and any of the candidates any good, but rather exceedingly harming their cause if they failed to let the sleeping dog lie.

Hot-tempered Kennedy Agyapong had better call his supporters to order, and him learning to be respectful, ceasing to be intemperate and vainglorious, for it says in Matthew 23:12 – “And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.”

Humble Dr Bawumia must request his followers to cease revealing the abundant dirty secrets they hold against Kennedy, in their hope of irreparably destroying him in the eyes of the public to kill his political career for good. For, if they do that, it can backfire on the entire NPP party to cost the party future election successes.

Hold your fire, o, ye warring NPP Bawumia and Agyapong factions. You stand to gain nothing but to lose a lot by the warring path you have taken to! This is the advice to you by the son of Kumawu/Asiampa soil.

You are gladly invited to drink freely from his overflowing fountain of wisdom, if so wish.
