Former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has lauded the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the party that puts Ghanaians first.
The veteran politician, who unsuccessfully contested for the opposition party’s 2023 flagbearer position, noted that the party has consistently fought for the betterment of Ghanaians.
In a social media post on Wednesday, April 2, the vocal politician highlighted the party’s achievements in pro-poor policies, such as the Free Senior High School initiative.
“Never forget: the NPP is the only party that has consistently fought for the betterment of Ghanaians, especially the youth.
“Our achievements, such as the Free Senior High School program, are a testament to the fact that we put the future of this country first, even when others talk but fail to deliver,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, the Free Senior High School policy, introduced by the NPP government in September 2017, has benefited about 3 million students by covering tuition fees, feeding and accommodation.
