NPP have embarked on a nationwide “thank you tour” to say thank you to the Ghanaian electorate for giving them some of their votes, although such minimal to cause their defeat in election 2024.
Regardless of suffering a historic disastrous defeat never witnessed in the annals of modern-day Ghanaian elections, they still feel it an obligation to acknowledge the service done to them by the Ghanaian electorate by giving them some votes. They don’t want to be like the proverbial cock/hen that wipes their beak on the floor after feeding hence this embarked on thank you tour.
I wish the leaders of NPP leading the tour had firstly cogitated about, and secondly sat down, to find out why they suffered that unthinkable humiliating level of defeat in election 2024, and again, finally found solutions to avoid its future reoccurrence.
Putting on a public face of unity while there still exists internal disunity among them will not help matters but exacerbate their woes come any of their future party internal or general elections. They should not mask their individual differences, anger, hatred, pull him down and backbiting as in the proverbial cow dung, which is dry on the surface but wet underneath, just by putting up public face of unity for the sake of the tour but very divisive within their hearts and in private.
Have they resolved their acrimonious party rules pertaining to their internal office election policies which were seen to change capriciously whimsically during 2024, to favour certain individuals that became the origin of intense disaffection among contestants, culminating in some quitting the party, or putting on lukewarm attitudes hence the defeat of the party in election 2024?
The tour will only be meaningful if the party’s internal wrangling, looking down on others, conscious bias towards some while lopsidedly elevating and singing the praises of others, as opposed to the wish of the party’s foot soldiers and the Ghanaian electorate, are seen to be permanently resolved.
You cannot proceed on a thank you tour when there still exist unresolved fissures of disagreement and hatred potentially ominous to cause the party’s defeat in future elections.
Do the leaderships of NPP ready to win general election 2028? If yes, I will be asking them in my subsequent publications how they have, or plan to, resolve the questions I shall be putting to them. They cannot wish to win elections while still wallowing in stagnation in their deplorable behaviours and actions only good for those doomed to continually linger in opposition.
Are you anxiously waiting to read and answer my questions to be posed, the pass of which will justify your embarked upon thank you tour and prepare you for election victory in 2028? Just think about it, ye all NPP leaders and members.

It hurts to tell the truth but, in the end, it brings comfort.
