Ejisuman Senior High School and Nsutaman Catholic SHS have both booked spots at the 2025 NSMQ national championship after a thrilling contest in the Ashanti Regional Qualifiers.

Ejisuman SHS secured a well-deserved victory with an impressive 46 points, while Nsutaman Catholic SHS, although finishing second, earned qualification after posting a strong 41 points, enough to advance to both zonal championship and nationals. Mansoman SHS followed with 32 points, while Barekese SHS placed fourth with 25 points.

This marks a significant comeback for Ejisuman SHS, who competed in the 2024 national championship but exited at the preliminary stage after losing to Archbishop Porter Girls’ SHS.

For Nsutaman Catholic SHS, the qualification ends a long wait since their last appearance at the national level in 2019.

The school has consistently participated in the regional qualifiers but narrowly missed out on national qualification in 2021 and 2023, including a tiebreaker loss as a runner-up in 2021.
