Member of Parliament for Assin South, Reverend John Ntim Fordjour, has launched a sharp criticism against Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Acting Chief Executive Officer for GoldBod.

The attack centers on a viral video depicting the NDC stalwart dashing money to preacher, Nana Agradaa.

In a post on his official X account on May 11, 2025, the legislator lambasted Sammy Gyamfi, accusing him of apparent double standards.

This criticism comes in light of the NDC’s recent emphasis on austerity during their address on the party’s 120-day social contract with Ghanaians.

“In just 120 days they’re arrogantly and opulently sharing dollars in public, having stashed millions of cocaine dollars under their beds. These are people who have never worked a day in their lives in any company,” Rev Ntim Fordjour’s post stated.

He further accused the Acting CEO of GoldBod of a clear breach of his own government’s Code of Conduct.

“They’ve suddenly acquired and driving around $450,000 Range Rover Autobiography in less than 120 days in office. Yet all these are being done on the back of ‘toothless’ Code of Conduct which cannot and will not be applied,” he added.

The video which was posted by an X account user identified as itzMe on May 10, 2025, showed Sammy Gyamfi enter his car to dole out an undisclosed amount of money for Nana Agradaa.

Rev Ntim Fordjour’s recent strong condemnation of Gyamfi based on this viral video.
