Oti River Bridge part of $10billion Big Push Agenda – Oti Regional Minister

The Oti Regional Minister, Mr. John Kwadwo Gyapong, has announced that the Oti River Bridge would be among 12 major road projects slated for completion in the third quarter of 2025 under the $10 billion Big Push Agenda.

The minister emphasized that the government had a very short time to complete all projects, which are crucial for the region’s development.

Speaking with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in the region, he said the Big Push agenda aimed to drive economic growth, create jobs and improve living standards in the area.

Mr Gyapong revealed that the Oti River Bridge was a critical infrastructure project designed to enhance connectivity and facilitate economic growth between the southern and northern part of the country.

The minister highlighted the importance of some projects in driving regional development and improving the quality of life for residents.

He said the government was committed to delivering on its promises and making a positive impact on citizens’ lives.

During the engagement with the GNA, the minister revealed that part of the allocated money from the Big Push Agenda would be directed towards the Kpassa-Nkwanta stretch of the Eastern Corridor Road.
