The Volta Regional capital city of Ho is set to host the launch of Passion to Pouring—a trailblasing luxury cocktail tasting experience that harmonises the science of mixology with the soul of music.
This immersive event redefines how we enjoy cocktails—not just as drinks, but as full-bodied sensory experiences where taste meets sound and every sip sings.
Rooted in the philosophy that “if you can taste it in your glass, then you can hear it as music,” Passion to Pouring aims to turn cocktails into compositions, creating a dynamic blend of flavours and melodies that stir the senses.

At its core, Passion to Pouring is not just an event—it is a movement. One that reimagines hospitality as an intersection of innovation, empowerment, and sustainability.
At a time when the global cocktail syrup market is booming with demand for organic and exotic ingredients, the project recognises an opportunity to showcase African fruit and herbal extracts in a world-class tasting format, beginning from Ho.
But the vision stretches even further. This initiative aims to empower women, youth, students, and beverage enthusiasts by offering skills training in mixology, opening pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, and creative expression.

The launch phase includes a one-day hands-on training workshop in June 2025 at Ho Technical University. Targeting aspiring mixologists, hospitality professionals, and youth, the training will expose participants to the art and business of mixology, using local ingredients and sustainable practices.
Beyond the event, the long-term goal is to establish a Cocktail Studio in Ho—a creative and educational hub for mixology sessions, tastings, and syrup production. This studio will serve as a platform for experimentation, research, and industry-driven training that will develop Ghana’s next generation of beverage innovators.
On Saturday, July 5, 2025, Passion to Pouring will host its signature tasting event in Ho. The evening promises to deliver a multisensory journey where seven original cocktails, crafted from naturally sourced ingredients, will be paired with seven exclusive musical compositions.

Each pairing is intentionally designed to match the flavor profile of the drink with a carefully curated mood and melody, creating an emotional connection between what guests taste and what they hear. It is not just a tasting—it is a performance of the senses.
Leading this transformative initiative is Governor E.K. Tetteh, a renowned hospitality professional and pioneer of mobile mixology services in the Volta Region.
With over a decade of experience at the helm of food and beverage excellence at Volta Serene Hotel, Tetteh has trained and mentored scores of professionals in the hospitality industry.
As Founder of The Gratitude Project GH, an NGO dedicated to empowering the underprivileged through skills training, he continues to blend social impact with professional growth. His commitment to service innovation and human capacity development lies at the heart of Passion to Pouring.

“We are building something bigger than cocktails—we’re building capacity, culture, and community. It starts here in Ho, but the vision is global,” says Governor E.K. Tetteh.
Passion to Pouring welcomes financial, technical, and material support from corporate bodies, individuals, NGOs, and institutions interested in shaping the future of Africa’s hospitality and creative industries. Partners will play a vital role in delivering an experience that combines art, education, and empowerment.
As it launches from Ho, Passion to Pouring is set to redefine the cocktail culture in Ghana, where each drink tells a story, each melody enhances the mood, and every event leaves a lasting imprint on the heart and mind. It is more than a celebration of flavour; it is a celebration of possibility.
