The Municipal Chief Executive for Asokore Mampong, Ben Abdullah Alhassan, says perpetrators in the alleged killing of the Kusasi Chief in the Ashanti Region will not go unpunished.

According to him, the police, together with the municipal security council, have launched investigations to bring the perpetrators to book in no time.

The MCE led the local assembly to commiserate with a visit to the family of the deceased.

He urged the youth in the area to remain calm.

“We can see most of the youth, especially the Kusasis, are angry and willing to retaliate, but two wrongs don’t serve right. Keep calm for peace to prevail,” urged the MCE.

Adom news investigations also indicate that an aged woman who suffered trauma from the gunshots has passed away in the same house.
