President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering meaningful development to the Upper East Region, assuring residents that their overwhelming support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 elections will not be in vain.
Speaking at Jubilee Park in Bolgatanga as part of his Thank You tour, Mahama expressed deep gratitude to the Chiefs and people of the region for their role in securing victory for the NDC. He acknowledged their unwavering trust in his leadership and promised to work tirelessly to justify their confidence.
“I will continue to drink from the wisdom of our revered chiefs and the good people of this region,” Mahama stated. “Your guidance and contributions are invaluable to the growth of not just the Upper East, but the entire country.”
The President reiterated his commitment to tackling key developmental challenges, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. He assured residents that his administration would prioritize projects that would enhance livelihoods and drive sustainable progress.
