Two well-known Ghanaian prophets, Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi, Head Pastor of Conquers Chapel in Kumasi, and Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun, Senior Pastor of Spiritlife Revival Ministries, have shared differing prophetic revelations about the future flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2028 elections.
Prophet Worlasi declared that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would once again lead the party as its presidential candidate. Sharing his vision, he said:
“I saw the Angel of the Lord who has been showing me the things to happen in the future for the past 8 to 9 years and none of the things He has shown me happening around the world so far and I spoke or Prophesied about didn’t happen from the death of prominent people (like Pope John Paul, Pope Benedict, Queen Elizabeth, Mrs. Theresa Kuffour, Hon. John Kumah, and many others), coup d’etat happened in many African countries, Liberia’s Elections, Attacks on the church, the recent presidential and parliamentary elections in Ghana and many more.
In the vision, I saw this particular Angel carry me to a place and show me 2 prominent people contesting for a big position. I saw the former Vice President of Ghana, H.E Dr. Bawumia, and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong contesting for the position of NPP Presidential Candidate. I saw a lot of people following both of them, and they were all wearing the campaign shirts of the one they liked, but the crowd following and wearing Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s shirts were more than the crowd following Dr. Bawumia and wearing his shirt, but something amazing happened when the time for the election came.
In the vision, I saw that, before the crowd went to the ballot to vote, those wearing Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s campaign shirt removed the shirts, and under the removed shirt was Dr. Bawumia’s shirt, and they voted for Dr. Bawumia and He won.
I was surprised, and I asked the Angel why and what this meant. The Angel said a lot of people followed Hon. Kennedy Agyapong because some leaders in the party switched from the camp of Dr. Bawumia to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and pushed for Hon. Kennedy. These people had also been influenced by the leaders of the party, but Hon. Kennedy Agyapong wasn’t their choice or who they wanted. And by that, they decided to make their decision secretly during their voting.
And When they voted by 10pm to 11pm, Dr. Bawumia was declared as the winner of the election. REMEMBER WE SEE IN PART AND PROPHESY IN PART.”
Contrary to Prophet Worlasi’s revelation, Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun prophesied that Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would be the one to emerge as the NPP’s next flagbearer.
Sharing his spiritual encounter, he said:
“I will sit in a quiet place, and the Holy Spirit will open my eyes. In the visions of the Lord, I will see and understand what is yet to come.
In one vision, an angel of the Lord will appear and take me to a place where I will witness a significant gathering. There, I will see and hear a confidential discussion among the elite, prominent figures in politics, and members of parliament. They will be deliberating, asking, ‘Can he lead our party? Does he have what it takes?’ And many among them will say, ‘We will not support his candidacy.’
Then the angel will say to me, ‘Follow me,’ and I will obey. He will take me to another place where I will see a group of passionate young people who have embraced the vision and message of Kennedy Agyapong. They will be energized, rallying others to join the movement. It will grow rapidly, with youth from all political backgrounds uniting around him. Some will even leave their former parties, seeing their future in his leadership.
These young men and women will begin to draft bold policies and take the lead in his campaign. Their passion will spark a national movement. Kennedy Agyapong’s message will resonate deeply with the masses. The youth will create a solid grassroots base, even securing funding and resources to support his campaign.
The angel will then show me the final showdown. At this stage, clarity will come. I will see the very elites who once doubted him, members of parliament, influential political figures, and respected elders of the party begin to rally behind Kennedy Agyapong. Even those who had sworn never to support him will change course. Some well-known supporters of other aspirants will abandon their previous alliances and join his cause.
In the conclusion of the vision, I will witness Kennedy Ohene Agyapong elected as the flagbearer of the party. A new movement will emerge, one that brings renewed strength, unity, and energy to the New Patriotic Party. I will marvel at how the choice of one man could revive the party and prepare it with vigor for the 2028 election.
At that moment, the angel will say to me, ‘I will not show you everything now. Be content with what you have seen, for more will be revealed in due time.’”
Prophet Worlasi concluded with a reminder, reiterating a biblical perspective on prophecy:
“Remember, we know in parts and we prophesy in parts.”
Though the visions differ, both prophets highlight the significance of divine insight in Ghana’s political future. As the NPP heads toward 2028, their revelations have stirred intrigue and speculation within political and religious circles alike.
