QNET expresses deep concern over misuse of its name in Ghana kidnapping incident

QNET is outraged by the recent reports of Ghanaian nationals being kidnapped under false pretenses and commend the Ghana and Nigeria Police forces for their efforts at rescuing the victims. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families during this deeply distressing time.

We categorically state that QNET has no connection with the individuals involved and condemns in the strongest terms any act of fraud, abuse, or human trafficking unfairly linked to our name.

As a responsible wellness and lifestyle company with a global footprint, we operate through a transparent and legitimate direct selling model. QNET does not recruit employees, offer visa opportunities, or require anyone to travel to participate in our direct selling business.

We recognize that bad actors continue to manipulate and exploit vulnerable individuals, falsely presenting themselves as affiliated with QNET. To combat this, we have taken concrete and sustained actions:

Partnering with Authorities

We actively collaborate with law enforcement and regulatory bodies across Sub-Saharan Africa to track down and stop individuals who misrepresent QNET or distort our materials for criminal purposes.

Raising Awareness

Our “Say No” and “QNET against Scam” campaigns in Nigeria and Ghana respectively are at the heart of our education efforts, helping people identify red flags and avoid falling victim to scams that misuse our name—especially those targeting young people with false promises.

Providing Safe Reporting Channels

Commenting on the recent developments in Ghana, Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Biram Fall noted that “it is devastating that people are being harmed by criminals pretending to represent QNET. We stand with the victims and are unwavering in our fight against this type of exploitation. Our company is built on values of integrity, respect, and human dignity—and we will continue to work tirelessly with local authorities to bring these perpetrators to justice,”

We call on the public, media, and community leaders to help share accurate and verified information and remain vigilant. No one should ever have to suffer because of lies told in our name.

We encourage the public to report any suspicious or fraudulent activity through our official WhatsApp Compliance Hotline at +233 2566 30005 or via email at network.integrity@qnet.net.
