The Royal College of Health has officially welcomed 505 students into its academic community during its 20th Matriculation Ceremony, marking the largest intake in the institution’s history.
The ceremony took place at the college’s premises in Abuakwa Manhyia, Atwima Nwabiagya South District.
Addressing the new students, the Founder and President of the college, Mr. Richard Aboagye, highlighted the significance of the occasion, describing it as a formal acceptance into the institution.
He urged the matriculants to remain dedicated to their studies, emphasizing that the college’s vision is to become a center of excellence in healthcare training in Ghana. He encouraged them to stay focused, work hard, and strive for excellence to graduate as competent healthcare professionals ready to serve the nation.
Madam Leticia Ayin Diabene, a retired Head of the Nursing and Midwifery Department at Royal Ann College of Health, also advised the new students to be diligent in their training and patient in their service to others.
Speaking at the event, she encouraged them to seek God’s guidance throughout their academic journey and expressed her gratitude to the institution for the opportunity to contribute to healthcare education.
