Shoot galamsey criminals to save our nation – Blakk Rasta

Blakk Rasta has expressed his frustration and anger over the ongoing illegal mining (galamsey) crisis in Ghana.

Speaking on the Voice of the Patriot segment of the Urban Blend show on 3FM and monitored by MyNewsGh, he emphasized how galamsey has become a tool for politicians to win elections, only for the destruction of the nation’s resources to continue after they are in power.

“Galamsey has become a reward system for food soldiers who destroy our forests and pollute our water bodies,” he stated, urging immediate and drastic action.

He criticized political leaders for issuing statements without taking real action. “I’m tired of hearing lip service from presidents and ministers. We need action right now!” Blakk Rasta said.

He further argued that the government’s failure to tackle galamsey is putting the nation in danger, causing the pollution levels in water bodies to rise to toxic levels.

“We are sitting ducks, just waiting for our destruction. These criminals are killing us slowly,” he added. He also called out the government’s weakness, comparing it to a cowardly response that endangers the entire nation.

“Why can we chase petty criminals but not these dangerous galamsey criminals?” Blakk Rasta questioned, urging the government to take stronger measures. He believes that swift action, including harsh enforcement, is needed to preserve the nation’s future.
