In a heartfelt ceremony held at the Oil Dome branch of Royalhouse Chapel, a delegation from St John’s Grammar, comprising the Headmaster, four staff members, and three student representatives, paid an honorary visit to express their gratitude.
The Apostle General and his congregation warmly welcomed the delegation.
The Headmaster highlighted Apostle Korankye-Ankrah’s significant support in recent years, which has transformed key aspects of the school’s infrastructure and student experience. Among the notable contributions were:
A GH¢100,000 donation toward the construction of a new Headmaster’s bungalow.
The establishment of ultra-modern science laboratories, improving STEM education.
A fully equipped sick bay alongside a dedicated nurses’ bungalow, boosting healthcare access on campus.
A state-of-the-art basketball court, enhancing sports and recreation for students.
In a symbolic gesture, the school’s basketball team presented their championship trophy from the Hooprave SHS Basketball Competition to Apostle Korankye-Ankrah, acknowledging his role in fostering excellence both on and off the court.
The Headmaster praised the Apostle General’s commitment to education and youth empowerment, describing him as a visionary leader whose generosity is helping shape future generations.
“We are immensely grateful for his unwavering support,” the Headmaster said.
“He has not only invested in buildings, but in the lives and futures of our students.”
The visit concluded with prayers and a call for others to emulate Apostle Korankye-Ankrah’s example of giving back to institutions that shape young lives.
His legacy, school officials said, is one of purpose-driven leadership and community impact — a beacon for alumni and supporters across the nation.
