The highly anticipated Studentpreneur Africa Festival 2025 is set to take place on 6th and 7th March at the Ghana Digital Centers Limited Accra facility.

Under the theme “Igniting Africa’s Future: Celebrating Partnerships, Independence, and Youth Empowerment,” this year’s festival promises to be a transformative event, bringing together young innovators, industry leaders, and stakeholders to celebrate Africa’s potential and drive sustainable development.

The two-day event will feature a dynamic lineup of activities designed to inspire, empower, and showcase the talents of Ghana’s youth.

The first day of the festival will focus on fostering creativity and innovation through three exciting competitions – including a hackathon, providing a platform for tech-savvy students to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges.

It would also feature a talent quest and a pitch session where budding entrepreneurs will present their business ideas to a panel of judges, competing for recognition and support.

These competitions will highlight the ingenuity and determination of Africa’s youth, setting the stage for the second day’s grand finale.

The second day will feature thought-provoking keynote addresses from distinguished speakers, including guest of honour, Kojo Yankah , Founder of the African University College of Communications and a renowned advocate for African development, Prof David Dodoo-Arhin, Director of Innovation at the University of Ghana, who will share insights on fostering innovation in academia. Professor Engr. Amevi Acakpovi, Vice Chancellor of Accra Technical University, who will discuss the role of technical education in Africa’s future and Christine Ansong, Deputy CEO of Ghana Digital Centers, who will highlight the importance of digital transformation in youth empowerment.

The day will also include the final presentations and awards for the competitions, as well as the prestigious Studentpreneur Awards, recognizing outstanding young entrepreneurs who are making a difference in their communities.

The festival will culminate in a vibrant concert featuring performances by talented student artists, celebrating the spirit of African creativity and unity.

“The Studentpreneur Africa Festival 2025 is more than just an event; it is a movement to empower the next generation of African leaders, innovators, and change-makers, organisers said in a statement. By fostering partnerships, celebrating independence, and championing youth empowerment, the festival aims to ignite a brighter future for Africa.
