Realistically, the Student Unification Party (SUP) has been established to advocate for social justice, academic freedom, and peace and to implement the basic policy of Massescracy which states that rulership of the masses, by the masses and for the masses. Against these premises, cadres and militants of SUP must unite to continue championing the people’s cause and revolution as well as checkmating the menaces and excesses of government so that the right things are done in the interest of the people. SUP must continue to distance itself from backward student groupings that have been aligning with state’s looters to loot the resources of the state while the mass of the Liberian people languish in stark poverty. SUP will never found an alliance with deviants of the organic law and statute of the state and youth and student leaders who are betrayers of the confidence and trust of the masses.
After SUP defeated and dislodged Student Democratic Party (SDP) and the All Student Alliance Party (ASAP) that were founded during the Oligarchy regime of the True Whig Party (TWP), SUP also faced a serious political clash with the Student Integration Movement (SIM) that was established by men of the People’s Redemption Council (PRC) to strongly oppose SUP; STUDA was also established by some elements of the failed TWP to resist SUP. The devilish administration of Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf used its financial power and joined SIM and STUDA under the banner the Conglomeration of SIM and STUDA (COSS) to brutalize militants of SUP and to destroy SUP. The brutal and corrupt leadership of the ex-soccer legend George M. Weah founded the so-called Progressive Student Alliance (PROSA) to openly fight SUP and to disseminate their failed pro-poor policy on the campuses of the University of Liberia (UL). All of these reactionary movements- SDP, ASAP, SIM, STUDA, and PROSA have crumbled and dissipated in thin air while SUP is still around critiquing issues of Liberia, Africa and the world.
Furthermore, members of SIM, STUDA and PROSA are stooges and paid agents of national government and opposition political parties. SIM, STUDA, and PROSA are semi-terrorist movements that have been established specifically to terrorize UL and to oppose transformation, development and progress of this country. These hooligan movements have been financially equipped and heavily weaponized by reactionary forces to resist and fight SUP in making sure that SUP does not speak truth to power and critique critical national issues. Those elements of SIM, STUDA and PROSA are pitiful sycophants and spineless opportunists who are more concerned about what goes in their deep pockets for their personal aggrandizement. Some members of SIM, STUDA and PROSA are confederates to the drug syndicate of Liberia.
Finally, men and women of SIM, STUDA, and PROSA are one million mile away from genuine advocacy and they are anti-nationalists who prioritize profit making. They have vehemently refused to stand on the side of the Liberian people but willingly decided to subscribe to the tendency of bootlicking and opportunism. Their actions and inactions clearly show that they believe in political incorrectness and pseudo-patriotism, and they are far away from patriotism and nationalism. SUP will continue to disagree with those misguided and disorganized youth and student organizations that are dining and wining with the corporate thieves who are embezzling funds of the state and emptying the national coffers of Liberia. SUP remains with the masses, and SUP remains supreme.
