Teshie and surrounding communities in the Greater Accra Region will undergo a significant transformation with the construction of 40.3 kilometers of inner-city roads, announced Benjamin Ayiku Narteh, Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku Constituency.

Addressing concerns from residents and commuters about the poor state of roads, the MP expressed empathy and acknowledged the frustration caused by years of neglect. He assured the public that a long-awaited solution is now in motion.

“As someone who shares in the daily struggles of my constituents, I am pleased to confirm that the government has approved the construction of over 40 kilometers of inner-city roads in Teshie,” he stated.

The road rehabilitation project will cover key areas, including Marteye Tsuru, Demo, Camp Two, and several other communities within the municipality.

Mr. Ayiku Narteh said the initiative is part of broader infrastructure development plans to improve mobility, boost local commerce, and enhance residents’ quality of life.

He urged residents to remain patient and cooperative as preparatory work begins, promising regular updates and community engagement throughout the project’s duration.
