Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is gearing up for a crucial match against relegation-threatened Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians are in dire need of a win to boost their chances of securing a top-four finish, while Accra Lions are fighting for survival.

Coach Ouattara is well aware of the difficulty of the upcoming fixture, acknowledging Accra Lions’ quality.

“Accra Lions are a good team. This is not going to be a small match. It can be one of the toughest matches for both teams.”

Despite the anticipated challenge, he is hopeful that his team can secure all three points.

Ouattara emphasized the importance of the game, saying, “I hope we can get the maximum points, but it’s going to be difficult.”

The Accra giants are unbeaten in their last four league outings( two wins, two draws) and they would be hoping to build on their good momentum.

Hearts of Oak have a strong historical advantage over their local rivals, Accra Lions, in their recent encounters.

The Phobians have dominated the head-to-head records, losing only one game while boasting an impressive six wins in their last seven matches against Lions.

With this favorable record, Hearts would be looking to capitalize on their past success and secure all three points in their upcoming clash.

The match is scheduled to take place on Friday, May 23, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

With both teams having different objectives, the match promises to be an intense and closely contested affair.

Hearts of Oak will need to put in a strong performance to overcome Accra Lions’ determination to avoid relegation.
