Fornication (premarital sexual relations) and adultery (the violation of the marital bond) are not mere lapses in judgment or personal choices devoid of consequence; they are grave transgressions that wound the soul, rupture divine communion, and invite spiritual desolation.
Rooted in Sacred Scripture, Apostolic Tradition, and the Magisterium’s doctrinal authority, the Church’s stance on sexual morality is neither arbitrary nor outdated. It is a reflection of divine wisdom, safeguarding the human person from the spiritual corrosion that accompanies sexual sin.
