The two men of God have recently called out the former MP for always attacking them The two men of God have recently called out the former MP for always attacking them

Former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, has recently faced criticisms from two of Ghana’s most prominent self-proclaimed prophets.

These religious figures allege that the former MP has, over the years, waged a campaign against them, one that they believe was intended to discredit their reputations and portray them as evil in the eyes of Ghanaians and the broader public.

This GhanaWeb article will spotlight the men of God who have voiced their concerns and responded publicly to Kennedy Agyapong’s actions

Bishop Daniel Obinim

Founder and Leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has recently criticised Kennedy Agyapong, claiming that his presidential bid is not born out of personal conviction, but external influence.

While addressing his congregation on Sunday, June 15, 2025, Bishop Obinim alleged that Agyapong was not originally interested in running for president but was persuaded to do so by members of the clergy.

Labelling him a “tiger,” Obinim remarked that Agyapong has suddenly gone silent despite his former reputation for openly attacking men of God and media personalities now that he has aspirations for the highest office in the country.

“Because he wants to be president, he is quiet now. This is because he wants to be president.

“Do you know that if he knew he wanted to be president, all these fights with me and Afia Schwarzenegger wouldn’t have happened?” he quizzed.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie

Prophet Nigel Gaisie, Founder and Leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, has also directed spiritual criticism at Kennedy Agyapong, accusing him of endangering the lives of prophets and showing deliberate disrespect for the church.

In a statement shared on social media on June 23, 2025, Prophet Gaisie warned that the MP’s continued criticisms of churches and men of God could have severe spiritual consequences for both him and the NPP as a party.

According to Gaisie, some prophets in Ghana have died as a result of Agyapong’s persistent attacks on their ministries, claiming that the former MP poses a spiritual threat.

“You can’t attack the churches of God and innocent prophets and expect to be a flagbearer. Okay… we are waiting. God has spoken to us. We are waiting for the right time to speak and work. We will prove the power of God and the prophets.

“Some of my prophet friends have died because of your lies, attacks, and loose talks. We are watching and waiting for the right time to strike,” he added.
