Two persons have been reportedly injured after a truck crashed into a building due to break failure at the Agavenya Last Stop, Koforidua, in the Eastern Region.

According to a post by EDHUB on X on July 24, 2025, the truck first struck a roadside Indomie vendor before crashing into a nearby building as the vehicle, which had lost control, swerved off the road, causing extensive damage.

“A truck crash at Koforidua Agavenya Last Stop last night left two people injured after the vehicle reportedly suffered brake failure.

“According to eyewitnesses, the truck veered off the road, struck a roadside indomie vendor, and crashed into a nearby building. The food vendor and the truck driver both sustained injuries and were quickly rushed to the hospital for treatment,” the post stated.

“The police and fire service responded promptly to bring the situation under control. Fortunately, the room the truck crashed into was unoccupied at the time of the incident,” it further stated.

However, the vendor and the truck driver were swiftly transported to the hospital for medical attention.
