Dr Tony Aubynn is now CEO of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation
The Western Regional Youth Wing has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Dr Tony Aubynn on his appointment as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation by President John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement signed by Mustapha Iddrisu, Regional Youth Organiser, the youth wing expressed its excitement over Dr Aubynn’s appointment, highlighting his contributions to the Western Region and his role as a member of the Finance Committee under the Regional Youth Wing.
The statement described Dr Aubynn’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his vast experience and dedication to national development.
“With over 20 years of experience in both the solid minerals and oil and gas sectors, we are confident that Dr. Aubynn will deliver diligently in his new role,” the statement read.
It further noted his remarkable achievements as the CEO of the Minerals Commission, where he left an indelible mark through transformative leadership in Ghana’s mining sector.
The youth wing also expressed its conviction that Dr Aubynn will replicate similar success in his new position, helping the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation achieve its strategic objectives.
The Western Regional Youth Wing also joined other Ghanaians in celebrating Dr. Aubynn’s appointment and pledged its unflinching support as he takes on this new responsibility.
“This appointment is not only an honor to Dr Aubynn but also a recognition of the Western Region and Ghana as a whole. The youth in the region stand solidly behind you,” the statement concluded.
The Petroleum Hub Development Corporation is expected to play a pivotal role in Ghana’s energy sector, and stakeholders remain optimistic about the leadership and vision Dr Aubynn will bring to the organisation.
