Worldwide Word Ministries, also known as The Hill City Church, has begun its 9th-anniversary celebrations, setting the tone for a week of spiritual renewal and community impact.

At a press conference to launch the event, Prophet John Anokye, the prelate of the ministry, reflected on the church’s journey and reaffirmed its mission.

“As we mark this significant milestone, we are reminded of our divine calling to be a results-based, truth-proclaiming, and solution-oriented global ministry,” Prophet Anokye stated.

He emphasized that this year’s theme, “Greater Mandate,” represents the church’s commitment to expanding its reach and deepening its impact.

“We are driven by the Holy Spirit to fulfil our divine mandate and bring transformation to countless lives. This ‘Greater Mandate’ will propel us to greater heights, enabling us to make a more significant impact in people’s lives,” he declared.

He seized the opportunity to invite the general public to join the church as it marks its 9th anniversary in doing the work of God and giving back to society.

“We invite the general public to join us in celebrating God’s faithfulness and experiencing the ‘Greater Mandate’ bestowed upon us. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the unwavering support of our dedicated members, Worldwide Word Ministries will continue to be a beacon of hope, transformation, and divine purpose,” Prophet Anokye concluded.

The week-long celebration runs from February 10 to 16, featuring a series of events designed to uplift both the church and the community.

It began with a press conference on February 10, followed by a crusade at the American House Station on February 11. On February 12, the ministry held a Worship Night with the Word Choir and a clean-up exercise at the Ogbojo Poly Clinic. A Prophetic Service with The Lord’s General is scheduled for February 13, followed by a Celebration Service at the church auditorium on February 14.

On February 15, the church will engage in a football match against The Makers House Chapel International at The Makers House Astro Turf, with the celebrations concluding on February 16 with the Breaking of Bread Ceremony at The Hill City Auditorium.

As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility, the church organized a clean-up exercise at Ogbojo Poly Clinic on February 12. Prophet Anokye highlighted the importance of community engagement, noting that Worldwide Word Ministries has consistently extended its impact beyond the pulpit by giving back to society.
