Otweedom Amoah I, Suhum Okorase NifaHene
Otweedom Amoah Nyadu I, Suhum Okorase NifaHene, has called on Ghanaian youth to observe the Easter festivities as a time of renewed hope and commitment to future achievements for the betterment of Ghana.
Speaking at his palace in Suhum, located in the Eastern Region, the Chief emphasized key areas crucial for promoting growth and sustainability among the youth of Ghana.
Addressing the importance of discipline, he noted that Easter celebrations in Ghana are typically marked by a variety of vibrant and exciting activities commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, he cautioned the youth to celebrate responsibly and avoid actions that could lead them into conflict with the law.
He stressed the importance of exercising caution and maintaining discipline during the festivities, regardless of one’s environment.
“Easter should be a time for reflection on the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the atonement of mankind’s sins,” Otweedom Amoah Nyadu I said.
He also urged the youth to adopt a positive mindset toward building a better future. According to him, it is essential for young people to strive for breakthroughs in order to contribute meaningfully to national development.
The Chief emphasized that Easter should be celebrated in a spirit of love, peace, forgiveness, and the renewal of strained relationships.
Speaking on matters within his traditional jurisdiction, the Suhum Okorase NifaHene encouraged his people to mark the Easter season with values of discipline, unity, hope, and optimism to drive the development of Suhum Okorase.
He further advised the youth in his traditional area to avoid all forms of negative behavior that could jeopardize their future and urged them to uphold discipline at all times.
Otweedom Nyadu I reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to supporting Suhum Okorase with developmental initiatives aimed at improving the lives of its residents.
He concluded by wishing all Ghanaians a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration and encouraged everyone to live in unity and love.
